Fredericks Ice Cream

"The best ice cream in Britain from Italy"

In the 1870s Angelo Frederick walked one thousand miles from Parma, Italy to Sheffield, England. He then began making ice cream.
Originally it was sold from handcarts and later from horse-drawn carts which still survive today. His son John Russel relocated the company to Chesterfield in 1925.
The next era saw Bruno Frederick take over the company in 1957, developing the business to where it is today.
His son John now has the helm, and he has many plans and ideas for further development.
