Stan Heeley's wedding to Joan Martin at St. John’s church. This would have been in the late 1950s. The Martins lived on Queen Victoria Road between Birkin Avenue and the Four Lane Ends roundabout and Stan and Joan lived at the bottom of Green Lane, in the house next to Lill’s shop. Harry Heeley is pictured to the right of the bride. Stuart Heeley is partially obscured by the bridesmaid’s (Janet Martin) right arm!

No.1. Fanny Heeley (nee Kinnerley) whose first husband, Charles Harold Bradder had been killed in World War 1.
No. 2. Her sister, Maggie Kinnerley, school mistress at Tupton school.
No. 3. Her sister, Evelyn Johnson (nee Kinnerley).
No. 4. Her sister, Hannah (Dot, because when she was born she looked like a “a little dot”) Kinnerley.

The venue was Trentham Gardens in Stoke on Trent.
